Rosie said today, "I want to go see my goats." So out we all went. It was time to feed Linus anyway, so the whole family sat down to watch him eat.

Barrel baby
Our new little kid got a new name. I'm calling him Linus, it just fits him better.
We were a little worried getting such a young one with no mama, no one to keep him warm. So William devised a nice little bed for him with a heat lamp inside a metal barrel. Goats like to crawl in small spaces and Linus loves to curl up in his little barrel. The hole is just big enough only for very small kids so our four month-olds can't get in there - although Daisy sometimes sleeps with her head in the barrel, which makes it hard for Linus to get in.
It's a good thing we have this barrel, it got below freezing last night and Linus was cozy warm.

Happy Valentine's Nanny
Today Nana got to babysit while Mommy and Daddy went to breakfast.
First, just like a good Nana, I got out the computer so Rosie and I could watch an episode of Peep.
Next, Rosie and I mixed up a batch of spinach and cheese cupcakes. Then Nana poured Rosie and I coffee, and we ate those wonderful egg cupcakes. We topped our breakfast off with Reecee's peanut butter heart candies. Rosie really liked this breakfast.
So did Nana. Now we're going to watch another Peep.
