Kitty

I got a kitty my first day back. Found him in Mae's holly bush, he had been treed by a tom cat and had a few injuries. He is extremely loveable, like he was just waiting for someone to find him. My guess is that he is about 8-9 weeks old. He has a cut on his rear leg that looks like it is healing. I will bring him home because I don't want anything to happen to him while I am away for 2 weeks this last time (if you click the first picture you will see a short movie of him).


Mae wants me to call him Smokey because of his color, what do you think I should call him? He looks exactly like the 2nd Amos cat we had, that Dad brought me when he worked for the Tree Surgeon in Tahoe City; the one we lost when we moved to Bellflower.

I keep him in the laundry room. He has a box to sleep in and a litter box (UGH!) and he likes it there. When I take him on the patio to run around, he plays a while then goes back to the laundry room door and meows; he knows his food and water are in there and he feels safe I guess.

Amanda got a hair cut

Wow, was I ever surprised when Amanda picked me up at the airport a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't known about her hair, but it looks so hot on her. It's a lot easier to fix, instead of taking 45 minutes to straighten her lovely curls, now she just uses a little mousse and she is done. This photo was a "bad hair" day, and she didn't know I would want her picture, and look how pretty.

Todd loves it - he is one of only two guys I know that like the shorter hair.

Bellflower

Have you ever wondered what a Bellflower looks like? I have, mainly because I have lived in the city of Bellflower for 17 years.

Now I have some, ironically. They sit in a pot on my front porch. I love how they make that little balloon right before blooming.
